Device Description

The TouchPoints for Calm is an assistive technology wearable device that uses gentle alternating vibrations on both sides of the body to support emotional regulation and reduce stress. The device can assist individuals by providing calming sensory input that helps regulate the body’s stress response, making it easier to focus, relax, and transition between activities. It may benefit individuals with anxiety, sensory processing needs, attention difficulties, or challenges with emotional regulation, including those with autism, attention deficit disorders, or individuals experiencing daily stress. The device is worn on the wrists using silicone bands, clipped to clothing, or placed in pockets, and uses three adjustable vibration speeds to support calming, focus, or relaxation depending on user preference. It includes two wearable touchpoint units, wristbands, and a charging cable for ongoing use. The small wristband size is designed to fit wrist measurements approximately five point five inches to six point seven inches, and the device measures approximately five point nine one inches by nine point zero six inches by one point one eight inches.
