Device Description

The BIGmack is an easy and effective way to introduce single message communication to a person who have difficulty using speech to communicate. It is a great device to use for demonstrations as it allows the user to develop communication skills, make a request, participate in an activity, or making a choice. The BIGmack has a large 5-inch activation surface, that when pressed, allows you to play a pre-recorded message. Any single message can be recorded up to two minutes in length. The top can be easily removed and replaced with the preferred color of choice or create a printable picture symbol overlay. The BIGmack features an accessibility switch input jack and a toy/appliance output jack <point to that location> to easily connect and activate a toy or appliance. To easily record a message onto the BIGmack:

• Turn on the device by moving the volume control to the “on” position.
• Press and hold the record button until the red recording light turns on, then release the record button.
• Press and hold the top of the device.
• When you hear a beep from the device, begin speaking into the microphone to record a message.
• When finished recording, release the top of the device.
• After voice recording and releasing the switch top, press the record button again to exit recording mode.

The device is ready to use; adjust the volume as needed. To clean the BIGmack, wipe with any mild, non-abrasive cleaner and disinfectant. Do not submerge the unit.
