Device Description
The Specs Switch is perfect for a person who require a small activation surface due to motor challenges. A switch allows a child to access toys, appliances, and electronic devices with the slightest touch of a button. The Specs Switch provides a small 1 and 3/8 - inch activation surface that activates with as little as 3.5-oz of pressure force. The Specs Switch is small enough to be worn but is often used as a mounted switch. The switch includes a space-saving flush base and a strap base for mounting on items like a headrest or armrest. The switch top can be easily removed and replaced with the preferred color of choice on the top or create a printable picture symbol overlay. To use the Specs Switch, simply plug it into any switch-adapted device with a standard mono switch jack. Press the switch activation surface to activate the attached device. It is a direct mode press and release, so once the pressure is released, it stops the activation. To clean the Switch, disconnect the adapted device; clean it with disinfecting wipes or alcohol. Do not submerge the device in water or use harsh solvents to clean.
