Device Description

The Easi Grip Long Reach Garden Tools Set of 4 is an adapted set of gardening tools designed to support individuals who have difficulty bending, reaching, or gripping standard hand tools. This set serves as assistive technology by allowing gardening tasks to be completed from a seated or standing position while keeping the wrist and hand in a natural, neutral alignment, which can help reduce strain and discomfort. Individuals with arthritis, limited mobility, reduced grip strength, balance concerns, or conditions affecting the hands, wrists, shoulders, or back may benefit from using these long reach tools, as well as individuals who prefer to garden while seated. The set includes one long reach trowel, one long reach fork, one long reach cultivator, and one long reach hoe, each featuring an upright, soft-grip handle positioned at a right angle to the tool head. The stainless steel tool heads are designed to move smoothly through soil and help prevent soil from sticking. The long reach trowel measures approximately 34 inches in length and weighs about 20 ounces, the long reach fork measures approximately 32 inches in length and weighs about 18.5 ounces, the long reach cultivator measures approximately 32 inches in length and weighs about 18 ounces, and the long reach hoe measures approximately 31 inches in length and weighs about 20 ounces.
