Device Description
The Double Robotics allows homebound students to be in a classroom setting. Double Robotics is a telepresence platform that resembles a Segway. It uses an iPad and motorized base to allow a homebound student access to the school environment. It enables the remote student to join the classroom in realtime, interact with other students one-on-one, and participate in group discussion. The student only needs access to a computer or tablet with an internet connection to control the robot.
