Device Description
The TextSpeak TS-04 text-to speech speaker and wireless keyboard system instantly converts typed text to synthesized speech to operate as a speech generating device (SGD). The keyboard is 12” wide with standard keys. The TextSpeak TS-04 text-to speech speaker and wireless keyboard system can assist with communication for individuals with speech impairments, such as individuals with apraxia, aphasia, throat cancers, and ALS. Features included portability, ability to type novel utterances, save and activate phrases, selectable male/female voices in both English and Spanish, audible key clicks, ability to repeat last phrase, adjustable volume, adjustable speech playback speeds and ability to work over speaker phone.
