Device Description
The EazyHold Large Universal Cuff is an assistive technology device designed
to help individuals with limited hand strength, reduced grasp, decreased finger
mobility, or difficulty holding objects securely. Made from flexible silicone, the
cuff wraps around the hand and attaches to a variety of everyday items,
allowing users to participate more independently in daily activities
without requiring a tight grip. The large size is designed to fit larger hands
and accommodate objects with wider handles or thicker diameters.
This device may benefit individuals with arthritis, cerebral palsy, stroke,
Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, ALS, hand injuries,
tremors, developmental disabilities, or other conditions that affect grip
strength and hand function. It may also be useful for older adults experiencing
age-related weakness and individuals participating in occupational or physical
therapy programs.
The Large EazyHold cuff measures approximately six and one-half inches in
length and features larger openings that allow it to be used with a variety of
items, including sippy cups, toys, tennis racket, blow dryer, phone, etc. The
soft silicone material conforms to the hand and object being held, helping
reduce the effort required to maintain a grasp.
