Oklahoma ABLE Tech: Device Loan: Device Details for Easy Grip Garden Tool Pack - Angled Handle
Device Description
The Easi Grip Garden Tools Set of 4 is an adapted gardening tool set designed to reduce strain on the hands and wrists by keeping the wrist in a natural, neutral position during use. This set functions as assistive technology by helping individuals apply less grip strength and minimize wrist bending while completing common gardening tasks such as planting, cultivating, weeding, and loosening soil. Individuals with arthritis, reduced hand strength, carpal tunnel syndrome, limited range of motion, or chronic wrist or hand pain may benefit from using these tools, as well as older adults or anyone who experiences discomfort when using standard garden hand tools. The set includes a trowel, cultivator, fork, and weeder, each made from stainless steel to reduce soil buildup and support smoother movement through soil. Each tool features an upright, non-slip handle designed to support a secure grip even in damp conditions and may be used alone or with an optional arm support cuff for additional stability. Each tool weighs approximately one-half pound; specific length and width measurements are not provided by the manufacturer.
