This item is part of OK ABLE Tech's Respite Kits, a project in partnership with the Oklahoma Human Services Community Living, Aging, and Protective Services division. Only individuals who provide care may borrow this item. Caregivers may include those caring for a parent, child, grandparent, grandchild, friend, or anyone else. Applicants must be actively providing care—whether part-time, in the evenings, on weekends, or full-time. This package includes a set of adaptive dinnerware and utensils, ideal for individuals with limited mobility. The set features a bowl and plate with wide rims, deep sides, and anti-skid rubber suction bottoms, allowing for easy one-handed use without spilling. The adaptive utensils set includes five pieces, three of which are bendable and adjustable for personalized use. The innovative design of the dinnerware helps hold food securely, and the suction cup base keeps the bowl and plate stable on the table. The bendable cutlery set has large, heavy handles for better stability and control. Made from plastic and stainless steel, the items are microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher safe, except for the suction cups. The red color is resistant to staining from foods like tomatoes. The bowl has a diameter of 5.8 inches and a capacity of 14 oz (400 ml), while the plate has a diameter of 9.2 inches and a capacity of 17 oz (500 ml).
