This item is part of OK ABLE Tech's Respite Kits, a project in partnership with the Oklahoma Human Services Community Living, Aging, and Protective Services division. Only individuals who provide care may borrow this item. Caregivers may include those caring for a parent, child, grandparent, grandchild, friend, or anyone else. Applicants must be actively providing care—whether part-time, in the evenings, on weekends, or full-time. The Companion Cat Pet Therapy allows one to recreate the joy of having a pet and give the comfort of cuddling with a furry friend through these soft pets. The cat has realistic soft fur and built-in sensors that respond to motion and touch. The VibraPurr feature inside the cat makes it sounds and feels like real purring. These may assist Alzheimer and Dementia Patients by offering comfort and companionship.
