Foam Tubing for Adapting Grip (set of 3)

Device Description

The Foam Grip Tubing for Adapting Grip (set of 3) are customizable sleeves designed to increase the diameter and improve the grip of everyday items. This device functions as assistive technology by reducing the amount of hand strength and fine motor control required to hold and manipulate objects.
The foam grip tubing can support individuals who benefit from enhanced grip stability, including individuals with reduced hand strength, limited dexterity, tremors, or differences in motor control. It may be used in home, school, or care environments to support activities such as eating, writing, grooming, or tool use.
The device slides over the handles of common items such as utensils, toothbrushes, razors, pens, pencils, or combs. By increasing the handle size and providing a cushioned surface, it allows the user to grasp objects with less effort and improved control.
The tubing is made of soft, lightweight foam that conforms to the user’s hand while maintaining a stable, non-slip surface. This material helps reduce strain on joints and muscles during repeated or sustained use of everyday objects.
The set includes multiple tubes with different inner diameters, allowing the user to select the most appropriate size for a variety of items. The tubing can also be cut to a desired length, supporting customization for specific tasks or preferences. When borrowing from Oklahoma ABLE Tech, please do not cut the tubing.
The material is designed to be durable, water-resistant, and easy to clean, supporting repeated use in daily routines such as meals, hygiene, or household tasks.
